About me

I was born and raised in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, studied B.Sc. in Computer Systems Engineering at ITESM Campus Guadalajara and moved to Germany a year ago. I am currently living in Ettlingen Germany and working at Nero AG in the Online Services team.

As a Software Engineer, I have the most interest and experience with Object Oriented Programming and Design. I have worked with a variety of languages such as Java, C++, C#, Objective-C, Ruby and Javascript. I’m also very fond of UML, design patterns, design for testability and unit testing. Even though I’ve always been more interested in client GUI based applications, by working on the Online Services team I’ve acquired good knowledge about providing and consuming Web Services.

When I am not all engineery I enjoy a good movie, book or video game. I’m a homebody most of the time; as Dorothy said: “There’s no place like home”, but I also enjoy going out for a nice conversation and a good cup of coffee or tea. I love food, specially Sushi and Pasta. I’m not a huge sports fan (except for NFL!) but I do enjoy a good workout at the gym, a relaxing yoga session or a great tennis match.
