1. Craig Ferguson
Craig is entirely unlike the rest of the late night hosts! Not just because he’s the only Scottish late night host either. One reason being that he’s actually funny! His monolouges are always hilarious because they’re clever. His celebrity interviews entertain no matter who he talks to. I’ve gotten lots of laughs out of Conan but never as many as I’ve gotten out of Craig. He’s fresh, impromptu, has at least a thousand expressions, plus he isn’t afraid to dress up like Elvis or Hanson and lip sync.

Unlike the other late night men in ties, he doesn’t need a sidekick to be funny. He doesn’t need a band to introduce him. He doesn’t need a musical guest every night to keep people awake.

2. Theme Song
Unlike other late night talk shows, the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson has a theme song. The theme song is written and sung by Craig Ferguson, of course.

3. Puppets!
Where else in late night can you find puppets? Crocodile puppets that go ‘whadda do everybody’, pigs with sideburns, yodeling unicorns, a shark that doesn’t understand why peopple are scared of him, etc. Where else can you see David Duchovny being interviewed by a crocodile?

4. E-mail
The only late night show where you can actually e-mail the host. It really is a segment to show how clever the viewing audience is, since most of the question are so rediculous. A lot of people ask Dear Abby like questions and it’s always hilarious to see Craig null up and try to give sound advice.

5. The sketches
The sketches are always fun to watch. They usually include some wild costume, an impersonation, and Craig. Whether Craig is doing JK Rowling, rolling in her billions; being Sean Connery, perhaps overdoing the lady killer role; or he’s making fun of Jersey Shore, dressed like Mario from the Mario Bros; its always fun!
