Do we really need another to-do app?

First everybody was writing Twitter clients. Now everybody is writing to-do apps or note taking apps.

The thing about these types of apps is that they are very simple, cheap and everybody and their dogs could use them. The reason why they’re made is because there’s a huge potential for impulse purchases or people just buy them to try them out and never use them again (I’ll be doing the latter).

I’ll stick to using Things for to-dos. Still frustrated because they haven’t been able to provide cloud support (even in a world where iCloud exists) but I use it mostly on the Mac so I’m not that desperate.
