Wash away

Just helped the colleague who bought my washing machine move it from my bathroom to his car. When I returned to take a shower and turned on the bathroom lights I noticed it wasn’t as bright as it used to be. No, it’s not that the washing machine made the bathroom shine but it turned out that two lightbulbs stopped working in mourning for their friend who will stop making music every weekend while my clothes were stripped away from the sweat accumulated after a long week.

So long washing machine; may the family who will use you from now on remember to remove all coins and keys from the clothes you’ll wash from now on.
