True Neutral Human Sorcerer (3rd Level)
Ability Scores: Strength-14 Dexterity-14 Constitution-17 Intelligence-16 Wisdom-12 Charisma-12 Alignment: True Neutral A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn’t feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a...

Harnessing the Power of Feedback Loops →
A feedback loop involves four distinct stages. First comes the data: A behavior must be measured, captured, and stored. This is the evidence stage. Second, the information must be relayed to the individual, not in the raw-data form in which it was captured but in a context that makes it emotionally resonant. This is the relevance stage. But even compelling information is useless if we don’t...

I shall install Lion beta
I’ve been watching WWDC videos these days and I’ve realized that it doesn’t make sense to implement some parts of a project I’m working on using 10.6 APIs. I have my old MacBook’s HDD in an enclosure so I will install Lion on that drive to start playing around with the new APIs.

Final Cut Pro X: Out with the old, in with the new →
Final Cut Pro X is nothing but a paradigm shift. This angers people who were used to the old paradigm. These people were used to the old way of doing things, old tools, old formats and old ideas. Apple is all about moving forward and it doesn’t allow “legacy” stuff to get in its way. (via programmista)

The Real Reason There Was No Email On The... →
Jay Yarow: Turns out it had to skip native email support on the PlayBook because its architecture can’t support two devices with one person’s account, according to a source. I’ll just add one thing: lol!

The Perfect Ricotta Cheese - CHOW I’m a cheese lover and Ricotta is one of my favorite ones. I mostly use it with scrambled eggs because it gives a softer texture and keeps them tasty and smooth even when they get cold. I also like it spread on salty bread or mixed in a pasta sauce. Ricotta is one of the finest cheeses in my opinion.

That’s right James Verone says he has no medical insurance. He has a growth of some sort on his chest, two ruptured disks and a problem with his left foot. He is 59 years old and with no job and a depleted bank account. He thought jail was the best place he could go for medical care and a roof over his head. Verone is hoping for a three-year sentence. 9news.com Unbelievable that...

Plutor & Fedor: A Facebook Acquisition Story →
Facebook has a big problem that, in my opinion, Sofa can solve. It consists of many talented developers, but design has never been an integral part of Facebook. However, on the scale at which they operate, design is crucial to win wars. Apple has Jonathan Ive. Facebook needs exactly that. By buying Sofa, they’ve acquired ten Ive’s at once. (via robertgaal-en) At first I was confused by...

Chromebook, nothing but a browser. Seriously? →
[…] Chromebook is good for nothing without an internet connection. Sure, web developers can add offline modes to their web apps to combat this limitation but I believe that making your web apps touch and mobile friendly is a better investment than making them offline friendly. programmista
