An idea
I have discovered an idea. It’s a simple idea, but an idea that changes everything. If I go through with this idea it can change the way I live, the way I perceive my surroundings and the way I’ll shape my future. Don’t underestimate the power of an idea.

I love how the mind works.
I just realized our system has a bug, at 9:30pm on a Friday night while preparing myself a sandwich at home. I wasn’t even consciously thinking about work. No wonder when you have an idea it’s like you’re discovering it, your subconscious does all the hard work and then feeds you the thought already processed and scrutinized.

It amazes me that there are so many people out there that don’t read or watch valuable content and aren’t capable of an informed, reasonable thoughts. It’s like people are actually trying to use as few neurons as possible. There is so much great content out there that for me the challenge is filtering out the uninteresting, uninspiring content from content which will have value for me. I read...

I was going to write my thoughts about it but I’m too sleepy right now to write. It’s long but it’s one of the best sources of insight into Steve Jobs’ brilliance I’ve seen. Maybe another day when I’m less sleepy I’ll write my thoughts on this. I truly admire Steve Jobs. (via minimalmac) What makes Steve’s methodology different from everyone else’s is...

Very interesting talk. I specially like the fact that she presents ideas for human-environment interfaces and human-animal interfaces. We are too busy investing resources into human-computer interaction when we could invest in ways to understand our environment better. We could see the impact our actions have on the environment and act accordingly. Natalie Jeremijenko: The art of the...

Android is Google’s Agent Smith →
Sadly, fragmentation amongst versions of Android is the least Google has to worry about nowadays. Agent Android has now acquired the ability to duplicate Google’s very own app marketplace. The symbiotic relationship between manufacturers and carriers is coming to an end. Carriers have now realized that they can exploit the open-source nature of Android to their own advantage. (via...

Myth #26: Usability testing = focus groups
(via uxmyths) When it comes to collecting feedback from users, usability tests and focus groups are often confused although their goals are completely different. Focus groups assess what users say: a number of people gather in order to discuss their feelings, attitudes and thoughts on a given topic to reveal their motivations and preferences. Usability testing, on the other hand, is...
